Corporate training through play
Bring S&OP to life for your teams, in one evening at a restaurant.
Five participants share the functions of a restaurant. Together they forecast, buy, produce and sell, and they only get through it by talking to each other and sticking to a shared plan.
The game
Every participant runs one function of the business
Nobody sees everything. The team result depends on what each person shares with the others.
What participants practise
S&OP, leadership and collaboration
The game puts teams in the situation of a real S&OP meeting: each person sees only part of the information, and conflicting goals have to be settled fast.
The S&OP cycle
Demand review, supply plan, production, arbitration. Each step is held by one role in the restaurant, and safety stock comes into play in the last round.
Breaking the silos
A forecast kept to yourself costs at once in stock-outs, waste and turned-away guests. Participants learn to share information at the right time.
Deciding together
At every evening break the team reads its figures, debates and picks its projects. You soon see who speaks up, who decides, and whether the decision holds in the next round.
How a training runs
- Players
- Up to 5 per table, empty seats are played by the computer
- Format
- 3 rounds of play and 2 evening breaks to debrief together
- Duration
- About 2 hours, debrief included
- Facilitation
- A facilitator follows every role live and triggers surprise events
- Debrief
- The game journal replays the game to revisit the decisions
- Equipment
- One browser per player, nothing to install, 6 languages
One result for the whole team
After the three rounds the team sees its profit and its stars. The debrief starts from these figures: what worked, and where information got lost.

Frequently asked questions
Do you need to know S&OP to play?
No. Every role has its tutorial and the vocabulary comes during the debrief.
How long does a session last?
About 2 hours: the three rounds, the two evening breaks and the final debrief.
What if our computers are locked down by IT?
Run the Test my computer page before the day: it checks the browser, the network and the graphics card.
Do we need to install anything?
No, a recent browser is enough. For a room without internet, a desktop app lets you play over the local network.
Can you play alone?
Yes. In solo mode you pick a role and the computer plays the other four.
In which languages?
French, English, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. Each player picks their own, at the same table.
Does this site set cookies?
No, and it shows no ads. The game only uses a session cookie, to keep you signed in.
